For OS X Snow Leopard/10.6+ and 64-Bit Processors
Download this if you have Snow Leopard/10.6 or later and a 64-bit processor:
Download 0 A.D. for
OS X 10.6+ 64-bit .dmg package, 497 MB
For OS X Snow Leopard/10.5+ and 32-Bit Processors
Download this if you have older Intel Macs running Leopard/10.5.
(This version also seems to work on Lion.)
How Do I Know Which Type of Processor I Have?
If you’re not sure about your Mac’s processor, see the How to tell if your Intel-based Mac has a 32-bit or 64-bit processor article on Apple’s website.
Download the DMG file, open and wait for it to verify, then drag-and-drop 0ad.app to the location of your choice, typically the system’s Applications directory.
Special Note for OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) Users
0 A.D. is not (yet) code-signed for Gatekeeper. If the application won’t start, right-click on it and choose “open”. 0 A.D. should start normally from then on.
0 A.D. is Still a Work in Progress
The game is currently under heavy development, and many features are currently missing. This release is an alpha version, not a complete game.
